It's not Facebook, but it is mobile friendly... isn't it?

Stratos [right] wants to be My Friend. Stratos Tzortzoglou is his name, and the first thing I saw on joining WADJA (launching Media Box) was his smoke-filled mouth inviting me to "join my official fan club".

MediaBox, its new and innovative social media sharing service, allows  Wajda users "to manage, display and share media content from a variety of top level, high traffic providers to any mobile handset, PC or notebook."

And, it explains: "MediaBox was created with true mobility in mind. Users can access Wadja's social media sharing service from any part of the world, with no geographical restrictions and no installation worries, using any handset that has a mobile web browser and internet connection."

Sadly, my incentive to explore further was rudely dissipated by the spam-like appearance of Stratos. He's a Greek Actor, doubtless ultra-cool celebware in his native land. But not, I suspect, an irresistible draw for a grumpy old journo based in London.

Feel free to try it yourself - it's free, and the Media Box interface is said to be "familiar, email-like" and you can find out all you need to know from their PR announcement

But not, sadly, from me...
