Skype's Zennstrom to speak at Von Europe, Stockholm May 23-26
by Guy Kewney | posted on 10 May 2005
Picking out Zennstrom from the list of speakers is invidious; there are more featured speakers at Von Europe than there are delegates to most conferences.
The agenda kicks off Monday with "gateways and softswitches" and works itself up from there into a crescendo of "The EU Regulatory Perspective on VoIP" by Alain Van Gaever, Policy Development - DG Information Society & Media, European Commission plus tutorials on SIP, and more "breakout sessions" and Birds of a Feather gatherings than you can shake a stick at.
The event will have a marked Swedish flavour, and in parallel with the VON conference, a group of local organisations are holding a showcase event - featuring amongst others:
Nanoradio,with Pär Bergsten, CEO

End users experience a single interface for mobile voice calls performed using WiFi (VoIP) and cellular networks.
