Yahoo to get into bed with one of the big networks for mobile phones...

The deal between Yahoo and Nokia is no longer secret, and so the Yahoo! branded mobile phone will be launched this summer all over Europe.
According to The Register, a deal between the two companies
will give a branded phone from the Series 60 range to users who are seen as high traffic.
"Initial devices supported will be the nokia 6680, 6681 and 6630 with more to be announced later this week, and the services on offer will initially encompass messaging and personalisation downloads such as ring tones," reports Orlowski
In fact, the interesting question which is being kept secret, is which carrier will operate the Yahoo phone network. It certainly won't be T-Mobile, and so the word on the streets is that it will be France Telecom.
By a coincidence? the story has run as an Orange advertisement. But our sources think that it would be more prescient to paint that advertisement red, and put a Vodafone network into it.
Negotiations continue...
