Orange launches Treo 650 - but not in UK just yet
by Guy Kewney | posted on 25 April 2005
Excitement arose when we saw the headline "The latest palm OS smartphone is now available at Orange in an exclusive version."
Alas: the "orange" in question is the Swiss subsidiary of France Telecom.
Does this mean that PalmOne has revised the design so that it meets with the requirements of Orange UK?
I did ask my contact in Marylebone. I rang him. He's away on holiday for another week. This means one of two things: either, he's missing the launch (and will be fired when he gets back) or the launch is next week.
