Five-colour wheels make projectors mobile ...

So far, I've never seen a digital projector that worked off batteries - they all run off the mains. But there's mains-bulky and mains-portable. This HP model is portable. And unlike most digital wheel projectors, it's colour-accurate, says HP.

The new addition to HP's portable projector range, the HP Digital Projector MP3222, costs £1199 excluding VAT and weighs about the same as a small notebook - 1.7 kilos.
But it's the colour quality that HP is excited about, not the portability: "HP has continued to innovate in the AV market by introducing five-colour wheel technology – the fifth segment being yellow - ensuring that yellow shade inaccuracies featured on four segment DLP (digital light processing) projectors are overcome, without any impact on brightness or contrast."
I'd normally refer you to the web site - only, HP hasn't got around to putting this one up, yet; not even the press release. I dare say it will get there ...
