It's a charger. Why isn't it white?

It's a mobile phone charger. It's also a GPS satnav device charger. And it is, itself, battery powered. Yes, a battery powered universal charger. And it costs $49 US.
The Jumpstart Sport Universal Charger comes from Digipower, and it's so new, they haven't even got the new device up on their corporate web site yet. But it is small enough to take with you and (they say) powerful enough "to give you a crucial couple of battery bars for important calls. Be ready to call in a few minutes and add up to one hour of talk time," adds the blurb.
The idea of using a battery to charge a battery sounds quirky. But when you're away from the mains power and have spent too much time watching videos or listening to MP3s and suddenly need a full charge, this might save your bacon. And when you get to mains power, you can charge the Jumpstart at the same time as the phone - or you can charge it from your PC's USB socket, too.
The blue box shown isn't the only colour; "from plaid to pink" is the boast. And the device comes with a full range of connectors for pretty much any gadget.
Spec includes:
Today's announcement quotes Maurice Mizrahi, president of Digipower's parent company - Mizco - saying: "Jumpstart is redefining the way consumers view power chargers. The day of bulky and bland universal chargers is over. Consumers can now choose from a wide range of stylish designs that will make people take notice. Power is now cool, and it’s long overdue."
Recommended price of the Jumpstart Sport universal charger is $49.99; and for the Jumpstart emergency charger is $14.99.
And if you want a white charger, we've found one for you [image left] but you have to accept Generral Washington as part of the package. Sorry...
