140 Characters, or "What Twitter means to business" - Jeff Pulver rounds up the key speakers for June 16-17, NYC

by Guy J Kewney | posted on 18 May 2009

The 140 Characters Conference will be taking place in New York City June 16-17, 2009. Organiser Jeff Pulver says: "I have managed to bring together some of the most interesting people involved in: Media, Business and Marketing to talk about how they are using Twitter - - and what this means to business."

Modest as always (!) Pulver told us: "Never before has such a fusion between thought leaders, forward thinkers and the people who get their fingers dirty in utilizing twitter as a platform happened."

One can tell he wasn't at the "Build Your Own Computer" conf in London in 1977, then...! - Ed but Pulver does have the knack of doing good seminars.

And if you can get O'Reilly along, you don't really need to be all that modest...
