Old data stolen: T-mobile users unembarrassed

It happened in 2006; Thieves "hijacked sensitive data" on millions of Deutsche Telekom mobile phone customers. DT reported the loss to police, since when nothing has happened.
The data has, apparently, not been used for any detectable scam, reports Reuters, which was sent a press release over the weekend, by Germany magazine Der Spiegel, about an article in today's edition. Reuters says:
"Apart from names, addresses and cell phone numbers, the data, in some cases, also include the date of birth or e-mail addresses," Deutsche Telekom said at the weekend. "The records do not contain bank details, credit card numbers or call data."
