Wireless Event next week in London: combined with new mobile broadband show

This year, "mobile broadband" is running alongside the Wireless Event in London next week. And the Event is now "Wireless08" just to confuse us all.

Now in its sixth year, Wireless 08 is set to be the most exciting edition of this event yet, once again earning its place as the UK's leading specialist wireless event. Hosting over 150 leading communications IT companies featuring companies such as The Cloud, Tropos Networks and Mesh Hopper, the event will showcase to enterprise the latest wireless technologies available today and unveiling the networks of tomorrow. Key sponsors of the event include BT, Motorola, T-Mobile, Oracle, HP, Siemens and Aruba Networks.

The event hosts a comprehensive seminar series including a 'How To' seminar that will address how wireless networks can be used to enhance business performance and reduce costs. The seminars will offer real-world, impartial advice on how to evaluate and deploy wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, WiMAX, 3G, RFID and WvoIP and what the challenges are. Independent tutorials will be available from leading IT experts, together with demonstrations of key applications and technologies. Other seminars include 'Wireless Security and Management', 'Wireless Infrastructure and Devices' and Wireless and mobile applications.
