"This PR was not about telling the world the news on the new Instant SMS service."

Comverse, providers of the Instant SMS service recently highlighted in the pages of NewsWireless, was not pleased to see its press release in the spotlight; and the PR department has written to the Editor.
The item as published remarked on the fact that almost nobody had published the story, and suggested possible reasons. Comverse PR department responded:
I read your article titles "Instant "supertxt" SMS adds fun. Comverse removes it" and was a bit surprised from your reaction.
This PR was not about telling the world the news on the new Instant SMS service. This has happened already a year ago.
This specific PR was designated to the carriers who are interested in the service (and we have many of those contacting us since our announcement on the service a year ago), telling them that we have launched a new hosted deployment method for the service, easing the process for them to move forward with installing the service for their subscribers.NewsWireless publishes this complaint in the interest of balance, of course. We particularly admire a PR department which is proud of press releases which don't tell the world the news...
