Time to abandon One-Tel?

This is a difficult one: I'm trying to pay my phone bill. A phone call from my phone provider tells me there is an "urgent" message regarding that bill. Phone provider says it is called "TalkTalk" which, apparently, I've signed up for without meaning to.
The message can be retrieved by dialling an 0845 number ('local call' rates) so that's what I did. "To pay the bill in full" says the robot, "press ONE."
Yes, I can do that.
"Your account was due on April 20 2007," jerks the robotic voice. "You owed us twenty-five pounds and thirty-two pence. Payment of twenty-five pounds and thirty-two pence was received on May 08 2007. You owe twenty-five pounds and thirty-two pence. To pay in full..."
Erm...
