Using unlicensed radio space, in 5.X GHz, 4.9 GHz, 2.3 and 2.4 GHz licensed-exempt bands. it has a total air data rate of 48 Mbps, and transmission is encrypted to ensure security.
The Airmux-200 can be used in places where fixed communications equipment can get knocked out (eg between portacabins on construction sites) or where it can be hard to install fixed equipment such as in listed buildings. The Airmux-200 is also ideal for remote areas where network coverage is limited. Due to its easy installation the solution can be deployed as an emergency back-up in case of core communications failure.
RAD Data Communications will be exhibiting at 3GSM Hall 1 1D01.
