3GSM Congress "threatened by BA strike"
by Staff Writer | posted on 26 January 2007
The world's mobile phone community has been thrown into panic by the discovery that British Airways has decided to suffer from an employee strike on the weekend when all the highest-power telcos were sending their highest-power execs to Barcelona.
Travel specialist Steve Di Marco told NewsWireless that the staff strike from the 12th – 14th of February "will obviously greatly influence flights to Barcelona for The 3GSM World Congress."
So he has a deal for all of you who have booked flights with BA during these dates: "We at rEventz have planned to charter flights from major destinations (mostly from London) to help the 3GSM attendees arrive in Barcelona on time for the years biggest Telecom conference."
