Not a good week for Google and Gmail

Roughly a thousand spam emails into my in-basket at Gmail in two weeks. It's not been good; and the last week has been really bad. And that's not just the well-publicised Gmail outage
The good news was that Google has defeated Microsoft in the fight for Dell's standard desktop, as the "default search engine" with Internet Exploder. But that's the search engine. Mail was a disaster.
And then, to rub pure farce into the Google week, I went into my spam folder to delete all that spam. And guess what Adsense came up with for an advert...
