Wireless Community Set to Converge in San Diego for QUALCOMM’s Fifth Annual BREW Conference on June 1-3; More than 90 Sponsors and Exhibitors Support Top Industry Event
SAN DIEGO — May 31, 2005 — QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced new additions to its impressive roster of speakers and its full line-up of more than 90 sponsors and exhibitors for the BREW 2005 Conference. Now in its fifth year, the annual conference is once again sold out with more than 2,200 people registered to attend. BREW 2005 will take place June 1-3 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. QUALCOMM also announced the addition of two new high-profile speakers to its impressive roster of industry experts - Ian Clarke, head of Group Devices for O2 plc., a top European operator; and John Batter, general manager of EA Mobile and vice president of Electronic Arts, the world's leading game publisher.
Clarke and Batter will speak back to back in the BREW 2005 General Session on Friday, June 3 beginning at 10:20 a.m. Clarke will present “Device DNA - the Core of a Great Customer Experience,” with Batter following with his speech entitled “Why Mobile Matters - EA's John Batter Speaks Out About Gaming's Next Frontier.” Previously announced keynote speakers include Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, CEO-elect of QUALCOMM Incorporated and Peter Adderton, founder and CEO of AMP'd Mobile.
