Magneto is, of course, Windows Mobile 2005 - a phone/hand-held operating system. It's available in beta, now.
The growth of Microsoft in mobile phones is still too small to show on the graph of the total market - but in smartphones, the news that Vodafone now has a consignment of "Magneto" SPV and iPaq phones will cause quite a stir in Scandinavia.
These beta-test phones are being shown to key market leaders and they'll be kept pretty secret until various lawsuits are settled. If you want one, ask for Guy.
No, not The Boss here; Guy Lawrence, at Vodafone.
