Events: Billing Systems 2005, April 3-7 2005, Olympia, London

It sounds dull: Billing Systems 2005 describes itself as "the One-Stop Billing, CRM and Revenue Management Information Resource" - which probably explains why so many delegates to last year were so gob-smacked to find naked porn stars performing on-screen, on mobile phones, when they got there...

This is really about getting retail into the mobile device, and all the infrastructure support you need to achieve this.

"IIR's Billing Systems conference and exhibition - now in its 12th year - offers every delegate and visitor the perfect opportunity to broaden, develop and consolidate their knowledge of both communications billing and customer, partner and revenue management," says the  main blurb

"he event offers you an unparalleled learning experience plus the opportunity to meet all of the key Billing and Customer Care decision makers under one roof at one time!" and also, this event "offers you the perfect opportunity to obtain all the information you need to develop, improve and optimise your billing and financial transaction processes."

In order to really benefit from your time out of the office, you have two options for attendance: either as a delegate  to the multi-streamed conference or as an exhibition visitor. Both options offer you unparalleled access to vital information and excellent networking opportunities. To download the new Billing Systems 2005 conference programme click here

This is the official annual event of GBA, and it is not free. Top whack is the Five Day Pass (3-7/04/05) for which you pay £2295 (+VAT at 17.5%) = £2696.63 - but there is a One Day Pass for £695 (+VAT at 17.5%) = £816.63 - or if you just want to network, the Gala Dinner (Full Price) is £150 (+VAT at 17.5%) = £176.25 - so it had better be a good dinner!
