After a much-needed break, your network sniffer is back: and just look what someone has sent us! Mobile IT, just like we love. Well, yes, it's an MP3 player, true. (She's not over-dressed, otherwise, is she?)

The "AK-MP3 Jukebox" has a 20GB disk capacity which is being recommended as sufficient for 3000 hours of mp3 audio books. Audio books, because it's being sold by AudioBooksForFree.

Apparently, the skimpy clothing is appropriate. "The stainless steel body makes this new player uniquely suitable for outdoors," says ABFF. And yes, the player is really built into the body of the ammunition magazine of a real Kalashnikov automatic rifle. It can even be attached to the Kalashnikov machine gun instead of the ordinary magazine. This would be a great way of making sure, when on guard duty, that

a) you couldn't hear any approaching threat and

b) you couldn't do anything about the threat, either, apart from do some cool moves.

They say it's their bit for World Peace. Your Sniffer is staying right out of this.
