Reassuringly expensive; mobile data in bulk!

You can now get three gigabytes of Flash memory in one CF package. Well, you can, if you are strong enough to carry a big enough wallet - but at least you can do it. Yes, it's costly: £1,586.25 total (£1,350.00 excluding VAT.)

The package is available from Expansys but is made by Pretec - which announced high-density CF packages in 1.5 GB, 2GB and 3GB capacities back last November, at Comdex.

We did ask if we could test one, but they laughed at us ... :-)
