Orange Angel version of "Blue Angel" smartphone for Xmas?
by Guy Kewney | posted on 25 October 2004
The "most exciting Windows Mobile phone ever" out of HTC is in the hands of experimenters, and rumour says that Orange will badge it as the XDA III before the end of the year.
The phone was being tested by Geek News earlier this month, and Mobile Gadget News has confirmed that: "AT&T Wireless will be selling the HTC Blue Angel / MDA III / XDA IIs Pocket PC Phone Edition device as the Siemens SX66."
It is, apparently, going to look like an XDA; but the spec doesn't just include Bluetooth, but WiFi. The phone (GSM) is quad band. And it looks like they've pinched the slide-out keyboard idea from the Tungsten.
