Stone Group strengthens management team with board appointment

11th July 2008, Staffordshire, UK - Stone Group, a leading UK IT provider has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Keith Collins as Commercial Director. This newly created position will head up product management, research and development, marketing and strategic partnerships across the group.
James Bird CEO of the Stone Group commented "Keith has a key role in our ambitious growth plans, by adding his experience we have taken the next significant step following on from our management buy out in April and the acquisition of Rock in May."
Keith has a wealth of experience built up over 20 years with leading IT brands. He was Marketing Director at Dell and Xerox, Commercial Director at Dixons, Product Director at Tektronix and AST Computer and he began his career as UK Sales Manager for Amstrad plc, including a period with Viglen.
Keith said "I am really excited about joining this first class team. Our opportunity in the market is huge as we combine a genuine customer centric ethos with solid products.
