What's my new phone like? Well... red!
by Guy J Kewney | posted on 04 July 2008
When a serious review of a new cellphone starts out with a full paragraph defining whether the red paint is really red, you have to ask yourself "why bother?" - but if you want to know whether to buy the new T339 - a T-Mobile HotSpot@Home Samsung model, colour would appear to be the prime issue.
The Cnet review begins:
Though the Samsung SGH-T339 has a standard flip phone design, its bright red color gives it a bit of character. It's a deeper shade than on the Samsung SGH-T229--more like brick red than candy apple--and it stands out from T-Mobile's other HotSpot @Home phones.
The review compares it with the Nokia 6301 and frankly, they don't like it...
