Mini promotion for "Mini" mobile browser by Opera at MCW
by Guy J Kewney | posted on 11 February 2008
A new mobile browser from Opera; but in fact, all the excitement seems focused on the car, the Mini Clubman; a squadron of red cars will be driving around Barcelona during MWC. And that's the focus of Jon von Tetzchner, CEO of Opera.
"This is The Catalan Job," von Tetzchner announced. "The reality is that Opera Mini and MINI share more than just a name. The products themselves share many great qualities like being small, fast and fun."
And then, making it clear which product he is personally focused on: "I personally look forward to riding around town in one. I hear the MINI Clubman has more legroom, so I actually stand a chance of getting in and out of one!"
Jon is 195cm/6'5" tall, his publicity machine adds. Full details on the web site.
