UnPlugFests kick off for Bluetooth; new sponsor Frontline in charge
by Guy J Kewney | posted on 31 January 2006
The first Bluetooth get together of 2006, to ensure new devices all work together - the UnPlugFests - started yesterday in Vancouver, Canada, under the auspices of Frontline, named as "world sponsor" of the test events.
This is the 23rd such event held as part of the Bluetooth qualification program.
Frontline is the maker of the only Bluetooth protocol analyzer suitable for v2.0 + EDR, and is the worldwide sponsor of the 2006 UnPlugFests. Frontline has issued an announcement saying that "as the Bluetooth market continues to expand, basic interoperability testing has been enhanced this year to include security testing, robustness testing, multi-profile testing and Profile Tuning Suite verification."
