Who will be the next CEO of The Cloud?

All the major gossip in the comms business at the moment seems to be the question of "who will be in charge of Vonage when it arrives in the UK?" but actually, the really interesting question is "Who will take over from George Polk?"

It's a more interesting question than some, because of course, George Polk doesn't know he's leaving, yet. But the people who are backing the charismatic American founder have added a hyphen to "backing" and are trying to turn it into "back-stabbing".

He got away with it once, but he can't count on the next candidate they approach being an old college friend of his - especially an old friend with a young family she doesn't mind spending time with.

Time to admit that you can't stay in control, if your backers want you to accept a smaller role in a bigger outfit, George.
