There's no doubt that there are serious security issues for mobile users who connect to a variety of other systems during a working day; and sometimes, general platitudes aren't enough. Here's a site where you can get - free - expert answers on how to get out of trouble.
The ITSecurity.com web site has a panel of security experts available to answer queries. One of them will probably give you the right advice when you're in trouble.
