Following our suggestion that mobile phone users should be inspired by the Logitech personal digital camera and use USB to charge phones, a reader sent us this link ...
The brand new multi-tip version of TeleAdapt's groundbreaking USB mobile charger is now available through Dixons outlets.
The USB TeleCharger uses multi-tip technology to enable users of Nokia, Ericsson, and Motorola mobile phones to recharge from any USB port.
"The USB TeleCharger is a fantastic and unique product that makes maximum use of a power source that most mobile professionals carry with them at all times," said Gordon Brown, Managing Director, TeleAdapt.
Unlike an AC power adapter, the USB TeleCharger is exceptionally light and compact. It also removes the need to find a free power point and to carry an array of different power adapters when travelling around the world. The USB TeleCharger therefore allows international business travellers to travel light without sacrificing any important equipment.
TeleAdapt's USB TeleCharger weighs less than 50g and includes 1.5m of cable. No software is required, meaning that the USB TeleCharger is compatible with any machine with a USB port. The USB TeleCharger is available in over 400 Dixons stores and is priced at £19.99 (inc VAT).
