Short notice, I know; but on May 29th, there is a seminar - and a few spare places left, it seems! - at the 12snap "premium rate text seminar" in London.

Guy Kewney

The company's managing director, Anne de Kerckhove, says they will be gathering key executives from leading companies and charities "to discuss strategies and find out how their brands or agencies can get the best value from premium rate text."

The seminar aims to address and clarify legal issues surrounding the use of premium rate text, and to educate leading players within the marketing industry about its revenue potential, and how premium rate text works across networks. There will be case studies.

To attend, interested executives should contact @12snap.com

Venue is Soho House, 21 Old Compton Street

The two-hour evening programme:

5.30-5:45: The basics: what is premium rate text? <1/> 5:45-6:05: The legalities and fit within Industry regulations <1/> 6:05-6:25: How the 12snap team can help plan and deliver campaigns across UK and Ireland <1/> 6:25-6:45: Premium text in action - case studies <1/> 6:45-7:00: Qamp;A <1/> 7:00: Drinks <1/>

Anne de Kerckhove gets her puff in: "New marketing channels present new marketing challenges. Over the past two years we have seen the growth and success of mobile marketing, and with new regulations governing premium rate text promotions there is a lot of confusion about how best to use this medium. Our premium rate seminar aims to address these issues by demonstrating how best to use premium rate text, giving practical examples, and will answer questions posed through recent regulations causing a degree of uncertainty. Our seminar offers the marketing industry a forum for discussion and learning while maintaining brand integrity."
