New wireless show, EWT, goes ahead despite Tube strike

Amongst the attractions of this week's Enterprise Wireless Technology show - starting Wednesday - will be a panel on the future of public wireless access - chaired by the Editor. It's going ahead!

Our seminar is listed on the main site, and organiser Debby Giness says that all the signs are, most delegates will make it there.

Olympia has the advantage of being on main-line rail services making it possible to get there from Clapham Junction in the South, or from Willesden in the North. And Willesden is reachable from the East via the old North London Line which now goes all the way out to Docklands.

"As an additional bonus there is only EWT and one other small show taking place (both the main halls are unoccupied) so the on-site car park facilities will be able to accommodate any forseeable increase in levels of car traffic due to more people driving to the show," said Giness optimistically ignoring the problems of how much congestion there will be.
