Locustworld on the road in Wales selling wireless mesh concept

Once again the LocustWorld team is out on the road, showing how the Wireless Mesh delivers Broadband Internet. The LocustWorld mesh features in the @Wales Technology Showcase.

The showcase is called Tomorrow's Technology Today, run by @Wales, provides a showcase for emerging technologies, to "an audience made up from new media entrepreneurs and key business and industry leaders, who represent a large share of the IT industry in Wales."

Richard Lander, marketing chief at LocustWorld, is in Wales, promoting the mesh concept as guests of the Welsh Development Agency's @Wales initiative, setting up a mesh network that beamed out from the Jury's Inn Hotel in Cardiff.

Evan Jones, Director of the @Wales Digital Media Initiative said, "We are delighted to bring together our Welsh digital media colleagues with their counterparts in London and the rest of the UK." Evan added,

The @Wales digital media initiative is the WDA project that focuses specifically on digital business enterprise development. LocustWorld were invited by @Wales to present their wireless mesh system to an audience of around 100 delegates from all over Wales.
