Bring a little CoPilot Love into your life this Valentine’s Day

by Staff Writer | posted on 10 February 2010

Whenever Valentine’s Day rolls around, it’s always tricky to find the perfect spot for a romantic date. There’s the tried and tested dinner and drinks combo, however for those looking for something a little bit more exciting, why not use CoPilot to help you discover new places you’d never thought of going to before?

In a recent survey of 100 people conducted by ALK Technologies, the research showed that one in two people always leave their plans right up until the last minute, and 41% of people struggle to find something to do on Valentine’s Day. Furthermore, over 60% of people think that a weekend in the countryside is the most romantic thing to do on Valentine’s Day, so perhaps they know where they’d like to go but are unsure of how to get there.

That’s where, for until Sunday, the newly branded ‘CoPilot Love’ can step in as it now offers free Live Local Search as standard for all CoPilot Live v8 customers. This means finding that perfect restaurant or romantic getaway is just at the press of a button. Simply key-in whatever you are looking for, choose from a list of matching places, and be guided straight there.

Not only this, but between now and that special day, CoPilot will be running an extra-special Valentine’s Day competition on its blog here in the UK, and also on its Twitter page. To enter, all you need to do is tell CoPilot why you love them – simple! Prizes include pink champagne, chocolates, iTunes vouchers, upgrade keys to the full European version of CoPilot, and upgrade keys for the Premium Live Services.

You can visit the CoPilot UK blog here  and follow CoPilot (@CoPilotLive) on Twitter

Existing Windows Mobile and Android users can find out how to upgrade to free Local Search by visiting the CoPilot site

CoPilot Live iPhone customers will receive access to Free Live Local Search in a forthcoming update via iTunes.

Live Local Search is available for CoPilot Live v8 in the following regions: UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, USA and Canada. It is not available in Republic of Ireland.
