Is a 4 lb portable a laptop? or a netbook? BenQ says a netbook...

"At a petite 1.8kg (3.97lbs.), the T131 effortlessly enables multimedia/Internet entertainment to become a take-anywhere companion for consumers of all age groups," says the official release. No, sorry; four pounds is not petite, Mr Chen. It's a lump. A net-luggable.
The acerbic opinion is that of Grey Beard, one of the gurus at Unthinkable. The netbook is the latest Joybook from BenQ. Grey Beard seems unimpressed generally:
BenQ itself calls the Joybook Lite T131 a netbook. It’s larger than most netbooks, and more powerful, and with a 320G hard disk, more capacious, too. And some critics have dared to suggest that it’s a good choice compared with some Intel boxen.
One such, Traian Teglet said: "Confusing as it may sound, the Joybook Lite T131 appears like an optimum competition for all those Intel-based systems currently available on the market,"
he reports. Worth a read.
