You can TalkTalk all you like - we can't hearhear you...

Customer churn? Carphone Warehouse subsidiary TalkTalk doesn't have any. Not that it's aware of anyway. And there's a reason, and it's NOT customer satisfaction.
Your Hunky Mouse sniffer recently suffered an infuriating SNAFU on his ADSL link, which quite simply took out all email. Careful forensics over a four day period eventually discovered that the problem was caused by (this is technical) the MTU settings which were set at a normal level, which TalkTalk can't cope with.
Somewhat miffed (UK-speak for no pleased) the Mouse contacted TalkTalk help, which informed him that the mouse had an unsupported ADSL router. "But," expostulated the Mouse, "you asked me if I had a router when I signed up! I told you what it was then!" Yeah, well, tough, said Support.
So the mouse got onto the TalkTalk broadband web site, for help in getting a new router. Amazingly, the site is almost incredibly helpful with this sort of thing. That's the TalkTalk Helpdesk, where you can "find useful guides for common broadband and landline questions. To get started simply choose one of the options on the left!"
Options on the left include
"I'm thinking of leaving"
and
"I have a complaint."
Click on the complaint link, and you get a page which offers a choice "from one of the following sections [see left] and the list of sections involves just one - "Making a complaint" - so you click on that. It takes you to two topics: "Our code of practice" and "How do I make a complaint?"
You're more than welcome to click on that. You'll be routed to the 404 page illustrated at the top. It's the same page as you'd be dumped on if you try "I'm thinking of leaving." It says: "Ooops, we can't find that page."
Lala lala laaaa! I'm not listening!
