God will be meeting delegates to MWC (3GSM) - no booking
by Guy J Kewney | posted on 25 January 2008
See the chap on the right? He's God, no kidding. And (in computer icon form) he'll be on view in Barcelona at 3GSM (Mobile World Congress) next month. He's the answer to SMS-phobia, or anti-text terror.
At least, that's Zlango's theory. On the left is an extract from a Zlango "text" message, telling the Biblical story of Adam and Eve exactly as it was (not) told in the Book of Genesis.
I have an invite, which reads: "Zlango is a clever technology based on a language of icons that allows you to send visual ZMS's (Zlango messages) to people across multiple platforms such as mobile, email, the web and IM. Pretty cool? Well one million people a month (including God), across 12 different countries, already think so."
As for the little green icon...
Just don't ask.
Booth G01, Hall 2 and pretend you don't know me, OK? A million people a month are potty? I believe that, sure.
