Seiko turns to texting for customer support
by Staff Writer | posted on 05 January 2006
Kapow!, the UK?s first SMS text gateway, today announced that its technology is being used by Seiko UK to provide a SMS text-alert service to link customers and Seiko?s UK sales team.
The first application is to notify repair customers when their watch or clock is fixed. The Kapow database sends the text notification automatically as part of the despatch process.
Another text application will be used to keep in contact with the sales team from headquarters.<1/>
