Bypass the mobile carriers: go to mobile customers direct, says Orion at CTIA
by Staff Writer | posted on 13 March 2005
Back in November last year, Orion Information Services and Sipco Interactive LLC announced "the first national mass media campaign to offer a wide range of top quality mobile entertainment content directly to end consumers using premium text messaging."
Previously, mobile entertainment content "was only available through wireless carriers," they announced. "This is the first national campaign offering direct, convenient access to this sort of content through a third party using text messaging."
At CTIA Orion will show turn-key solutions for mobile store fronts with coverage in the US, Canada, LATAM and Europe, with "a comprehensive reporting and billing system."
