Microsoft dominance threatened by new wireless technology?
by Sniffer | posted on 08 November 2002
It sounds like the cataclysm which could threaten Bill Gates and his silicon throne: a new Personal Analog Device which works - wirelessly - even on aircraft during takeoff and landing.
Don't accuse your Sniffer of making it up. It's official - Bare Bones Software has announced its "first entry in the lucrative handheld market" - the Personal Analog Device or PAD.
"The Bare Bones PAD is an expandable handheld personal organizer, which can contain addresses, appointments, notes, drawings, and more," says the release.
Sniffer is delighted to be able to offer NewsWireless Net readers a special reseller franchiseon this technology, including the breakthrough "Chicken Scratch" encryption technology. Send a fifty pound cheque made out to "cash" to the Hunky Mouse, c/o IT Week, 32-34 Broadwick St, London W1A 2HG and this entirely non-pyramidal scheme will be explained. Absolutely no refunds.
