Anybody who happened to be near San Jose this week might find the "Connections" conference and showcase worth a visit - it's at the Fairmont from 7th -9th.
There are five main themes, or tracks. Track A covers "Entertainment at Home"; Track B is "Wireless Connectivity"; Track C: "The Visionaries" - Track D: "Home and Hearth" and finally, Track E: Distribution."
The wireless track focuses on the role of wireless networking solutions across networking applications and scenarios. "Issues and topics for discussion and debate include the role of service providers in deploying wireless solutions at home, at the office, or in public locations; solutions for protecting the network; and the expansion of the wireless footprint to include short-range and multimedia applications."
Anybody who goes, and wants to report on how good it was, get in touch!
